Newcomers to Canada
Permanent residents, refugee claimants, and Ukrainian CUAET visa holders, please contact the Welcome Centre at 250-475-4157 or email welcomecentre@sd61.bc.ca to begin the registration process.
Study or work permit holders, please visit our Ìý (choose funding eligible) to begin the registration process.

Determining Your Catchment School
Each student looking to register in our District must first identify theirÌýschool catchment, with the exception of Continuing Education and International students. Each address is associated with an elementary, middle and secondary school in our District that new students must register at.ÌýÌýTo determine which schools are associated with a home address, visit theÌýSchool Locator Tool.
Once you have all the required documentation and have determined your catchment school, you are ready to start.
If you cannot register online, please contact your catchment school and they will provide assistance. We also ask that you contact your current school for assistance if you are looking to register in a Secondary Program of Choice or Careers Program.
